Learn how to control your reactivity to stress
This course will raise your awareness on how stress manifests in the body and mind. Raising awareness is the first step to changing a behavior. When stress becomes chronic it will cause “dis-“ease and contribute to life threatening metabolic and autoimmune conditions. Yogic wisdom teaches us how to be in balance and find “ease” in our lives to remove the contributing factors of illness to obtain wellness.
Balance is Yoga
Yoga is a holistic mind/body healing practice. Balancing the mind is a goal of yoga and the tools in yogic wisdom teach us how we can find a calm and relaxed mind in our daily lives. There are tools to implement new behaviors, rituals and routines to keep you strong, balanced and resilient even during the stressors and pressure of life. Yoga will shift your mindset and this will shift how you show up in life.

Your Instructor
My name is Debi Robinson and I am a Certified Yoga Therapist C-IAYT and a Certified Health Coach FDN-P. I share the wisdom of yoga and science to help empower my students and clients to utilize the tremendous healing potential that exists within each and every one of us. I empower them to implement healthy behaviors, routines and rituals into their daily lifestyle to improve their overall wellbeing.
I began teaching yoga in 2010 and have taught for a hospital in Southern California since 2014. My goal is to teach safe yoga for the aging or injured population and I have become an expert in teaching yoga to this group especially those with bone density loss. I have watched 100’s of people practice safe, strong yoga to improve their bone density, posture, balance, confidence and other aspects that diminish with age. I receive amazing testimonials all the time from those I work with in emails and in our conversations.

I live by this quote as I share the knowledge and wisdom I learn from my studies, travels and life experiences with my students and clients. I live in an aging body and I had a total hip replacement at age 51 and the journey to recovery taught me so much and helped me become the yoga therapist I am today!
I am also a Certified Health Coach and this informs me of our health from a metabolic, physiological and biochemical aspect. I learn from evidence-based research and leaders in the Functional Medicine world the latest information and I combine my tools as a Health Coach with my yogic wisdom to create classes, individual protocols, workshops, online courses, free offerings and international Wellness Retreats.
I teach a variety of classes and workshops in Southern California at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. My offerings range from Yoga for Osteoporosis, Yoga for Wellness, Yoga for Balance and Aging Gracefully with Yoga. I also have online programs and take groups on International Yoga Inspired Wellness Journeys to Scotland and Bali.
